This morning we were on The Strawberry Alarm Clock on FM104 with Jim and Suzanne. We had a blast, played two songs and had good fun talking about Oxegen, Greg’s history as a sound engineer and this site!
Oh, and if you’re wondering what those vanity plates Greg is talking about are – they’re an easy way to remember the links to our social networking profiles:
On Saturday morning we were on Plan B with Michelle Beatty on Spin 103.8. We had great fun, a 10 minute interview talking about the being the opening act for Oxegen 2009 (with the Artane Band), and somehow the topic of Lady Gaga going commando at Glastonbury came up too!
We did an acoustic version of Rise for the first time and got some great responses from people texting into the show.
Have a listen to the interview below if you missed it. You can listen to the full version of Rise and all our other songs on the music page.
This is our second video off the album “Stronger Than Romeo”. You can check out the rest of our videos on our Youtube channel. If you like them you can subscribe for free and get notified before anyone else when we put up a new video!

Life is a stage, and it has been for the last 3 months but we’ve loved every minute.
From the great gigs to the not so great gigs
From the dancing on tables to collapsing on floors
From the pure adrenaline highs of a great gig to sheer depression of a bad gig
From knowing where were going ,to going nowhere (keep an eye on that fuel gauge)
From a Mini packed full to a van half empty
From the natural high of doing what we love to the synthetic low as the exhaust fumes leak into the van
From the searing heat to the bitter cold
From the “do you know when I am“, to the “do you know who I think I am“, to the “who the F**k are you?!”
From the great sound engineers who claim not to be, to the worst sound engineers training in others
From the characters to the caricatures
From those who cheered and wanted more, to those who liked the sound of their own voice and liked to heckle, (beware we are the ones with the mics and a twisted sense of humor, we don’t like to put people down but we are human and have days where the self restraint line was passed 2 days and 500 miles ago)
From the Spinal tap moments, to the thoughts of what our spinal fluid results may reveal
From a 10k rig blasting for miles to a yucalaly outside a small wine house
From arriving sober, to leaving as the bar fight moves into the streets as police in riot gear step in, (I guess 8 in a van made for 3 is the least of their worries)
From finding a car park that the van fits in, to looking for one that doesn’t, so we can play a song as the arial pelts the overhead signs in the key of A flat mostly
From finding a stage to play on, to finding a stage we can fit on
And last but not least,
From the beautiful people we met along the way, to the friends we have made, to the great bands we’ve had the pleasure to share a stage with…..
We thank you all, we will be back on the road in a week or so!
