The Brilliant Things are Marie Junior  (lead vocal) Greg French (guitar /keyboards ) Geoff French ( drums) Mia Fitzgerald (bass). All in their twenties, they independently experienced various aspects of the music industry.

Greg, has worked as both house and assistant engineers in many top international studios, working with artists such as The Corrs, Van Morrison, Mutt Lange and Brian Eno.

Marie Junior previously embarked on a solo career under the name Sweet T, gaining an Irish Chart’s Top 40 placing with her take on The Mekon’s “I Love a Millionaire”.

Mia a very respected young female Irish bass player has played  with Taio Cruz,  Pixie Lott & Andrea Bocelli to name but a few.

Geoff is regarded as a great young Irish drummer that   no less than Caroline Corr gave him one of her custom made kits on hearing that his own was damaged. He has played with Pixie Lott and Gabreilla Cilmi and done studio session with Tara Blaise as well as appearing on national television.

The Brilliant Things have had a very hectic last 12 months having played over 100 gigs which included  the Isle of Wight festival twice, Oxegen twice and this year they  concentrate on a UK tour taking in the Leeds and Reading Festivals.
